Dr. Friedly grew up in Rochester, New York. She completed her undergraduate work at Stanford, majoring in Human Biology. She later decided to apply to medical school and obtained a post-baccalaureate pre-med certificate at Mills College.
She attended medical school at the University of California at San Francisco and completed residency at California Pacific Medical Center. She previously worked as a hospitalist in liver transplant at CPMC, Marin General Hospital and at the CPMC St. Luke’s/Mission Bernal Campus before joining Peninsula Hospitalist Associates in 2025.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Havanese Lola, cycling in Italy and learning Italian.
